IDEA OF THE PROJECT

The main idea of the project is to capture and show the world of children, their joy or sorrow, studies or rest, entertainment, hobbies, positive and negative emotions, relations with each other and with their parents, shortly saying - THEIR LIFE!

REQUIEMENTS

Only women could participate, female photographers from all over the world
The topic of the contest is the world of children

The contest is composed of two stages and within two sections:

The participant can submit a maximum 5 images per section. In the section "Reportage" up to 5 images united with one topic could be submitted as one image.

Photos in first level will be accepted only to e-mail: kievsails@ukr.net
Preview in JPEG format, 72 dpi, to 300KB, 1200px on large side. After the judging, on the second level, an author has to send to the same e-mail as the original selected photo in size, which will allow to print photos, requirements of 30х 45 sm.
With sending preview photos, an author has to send a filled Application form. Without a filled Application form photos will not be accepted
Images must be borderless, no margins or frames.

Each entry must be written either in Ukrainian or in Russian (for CIS countries) or in English: Номер_Имя_Фамилия_Название_Страна
or
number_name_surname_title_country.

JURY

Each participant will receive an illustrated catalogue.

The participant permits the organizers to reproduce any entry free of charge for promotional purposes related to the project "Children's Planet"

CALENDAR
• Closing day for entries: 12p.m, May 10, 2011
• Judging: May 13-14, 2011
• Juried results: May 19-21, 2011
• Exhibit opening and awards ceremony: June 01, 2011
• Mailing of catalogues: autumn, 2011

PRIZES
а) in the section "Portrait" - medals and diplomas from ISF;
б) in the section "Reportage, genre photo" - medals and diplomas from National Society of Photo Artists of Ukraine;
в) the medals of the international contests from the Kyivan organization National society of Photo Artists of Ukraine.
The prizes are from the sponsors in every nomination. The special prize is from the newspaper "The Day".
